In order to establish an exceptional breeding program, one must have a clear understanding of its strength and weakness and actively seek solutions with an innovative mind. That is, periodically introduce excellent specimen that may boost the breeding program and bring in healthy diversity. So here she is, welcome the Crufts BOB winner of 2020, Rumba, to Aces-Up kennel's showing and breeding programs!

Rumba debuted at the Dallas cluster a month after her arrival. She swept the floor by picking up both Winners Bitch and BOS over a Top 20 special. The second time she's in the ring, she traveled to the largest opening show for the New Year in Palm Springs, CA with over 3,700 entries each day. She showed everybody what she's made of! The amazing Rumba took WB & BOS over special on the first day. She moved up in the game on the second day by taking WB & BOW & BOB over multiple top specials including the newest AKC National Championship BOB winner!

Rumba then traveled to the largest cluster shows in Portland, OR the following weekend to attend the prestigious Puget Sound Akita Club Specialty and a few all breed shows. She finished her championship on the first day by taking WB & BOW & BOS over specials for her 3rd major! The next day our new champion took BISS under the highly respected breeder judge, Ms. Kim Holmes. That was IMPRESSIVE! She then took one more BOB under another breeder judge and ended up with 17 GCH points with 3 days of showing as a new champion.

Barely 5 months after having her awesome litter with Tien, Rumba attended the Akita National Specialty week in Virginia. We are unbelievably proud of this amazing girl sweeping the floor at the most competitive event and bringing home 2 Award of Merit, 1 Select Bitch and back to back OH Best In Show!

The last shows before Rumba headed home to Spain, we brought her to the largest and prestigious AKC National Championship shows in Orlando, FL. What an amazing girl! Piloted by Laurie Jordan-Fenner, Rumba swept the floor by taking 3 consecutive Best of Breed during the preshows over No. 1 Akita and National Specialty winner.
