When our great friends, Marcel and Lene, the owners of Dynamic force Akitas, told us that they may have a special girl for us, we had no doubt that she must be spectacular. The decision was quickly made between all of us that she will be owned by both kennels.

This girl is a born star in the ring. With no training at all, Couture took Working Group 1st (handled by her mama, Wenny) at the Coronado Kennel Club all breed match at the age of 4 months.

As Couture's real show career began, it is almost record breaking. She attended her first show at the age of 8 months in Flagstaff, AZ. Over 1,000 dog were entered including some of US's top show dogs. She impressed the judges with her extraordinary breed type, movement, temperament, and show performance even as a young puppy. She took BOB (Best of Breed) from the 6-9 puppy class on the first day over specials with a large Akita entry. Then she surprised us by taking working group 2nd (G2) only losing to US's No. 6 Doberman Pinscher handled by the legendary Mr. Moe. On the second day, she took BOS (Best of Opposite Sex) again over specials with another 4 point major.

Couture was then shown at US's largest regional specialty in Greeley, Colorado. She was awarded Best of Junior in Sweeps, Best Puppy in Show, and Winners Bitch with 4 point major. When it comes to Best of Winners, she was graciously defeated by Canada's No. 1 Akita and also Winners Dog at US Akita National Specialty of 2014.

After the championship, Couture took two years off growing up and enjoying being a mom. We decided to show her as a special when she turned 4 years, and the first show she went to was the highly competitive AKC National Championship shows in Orlando, FL. This amazing girl swept the floor in Orlando by taking multiple BOSs, OH BOB and SBs all week, and finished her Grand Championship within one weekend!
