Wenny & Dream had a strong follow-up of their success at the National week by winning BOB and Owner Handled Working Group 2nd at Tuscon shows.
Also Couture picked up another major and she's only one point short of her championship.
We enjoyed the great weather and meeting new and old friends at the shows!

National specialty is always Akita's fanciers' ultimate destination. This year we learned that hard work did pay off!
After learning handling for a year, Wenny and Dream took Owner Handled Best in Show and prestigious Award of Merit at Pre-National and made the final cut at National!
Our two youngsters, Couture and Jewel, also took 1st and 2nd in a strong class.

We are very proud to announce that Aces-up has made some progress on owner handling!
After learning handling for a year, Wenny, the full time engineer and Akita mama, received her first award with Dream at the Los Luna shows! They won BOS with GCH point and Owner Handled Working Group 4th!

Our young and shining star, Couture, impressed the audience at the Rocky Mountain Regional Specialty won Best Puppy in Show and Winners Bitch with 4 point major!

We are proud to announce our newest addition, Jewel (Meledor's Rare Gem at Aces-up)! She's sired by UK's No. 1 Akita and Crufts breed winner, UKCH Redwitch Will I Am, and international champion and Best in Show winner, Int CH Meledor's Heart of Gold.
Jewel & Wenny took Best in Match of all breed show in Albuquerque the first time out. Thank our great friend and co-owner, Chris McLean of Meledor Akitas for trusting us with this amazing girl!
